advanced teacher training with Giselle at Nandi yoga
This 300-hour program is designed for yoga teachers who want to advance and elevate their teaching skills to lead cohesive and empowering classes. The focus will be deeper, more interactive and challenging. Through exploration of asana, hands-on assists, advanced pranayama, meditation, Sanskrit, Sanskrit chanting, yogic philosophy, anatomy and honing your own voice, teachers will emerge more confident, knowledgeable, compassionate and in service to their students. This simple yet powerful approach will lay the groundwork for creating impactful classes, provide tools for a vibrant and satisfying career and ultimately give you a deeper understanding of your seat as a teacher.
Giselle Mari, E-RYT 500, YACEP, C-IAYT will lead the training. She will be joined by Manorama for Sanskrit & Philosophy and Sarah Court, DPT for anatomy. Check out Manorama’s bio here, and Sarah’s here.
The training kicks off with a three day session that runs from Friday, September 21st through Sunday, September 23rd and followed with 1-2 weekends per month as follows:
- October 6 & 7
- October 13 & 14 (half day only 10/13)
- October 27 & 28
- November 3 & 4
- November 17 & 18
- December 1 & 2
- December 15 & 16
- January 5 & 6
- February 9 & 10
- March 2 & 3
- April 6 & 7
- April 13 & 14
- May 11 & 12 (half day only 5/12)
- June 1 & 2
- Successful completion of a 200 hour program that included rigorous asana training
- Experience teaching for at least one year
- Completion of a regular yoga class with Giselle
- Completion of application
- Full payment by the start of the training
